COVID-19 Message

To all our valued patients,

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to returning to our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your health and safety.

Following recent developments and changes to state and county safety guidelines, we have decided to start a gradual re-opening with your health and safety in mind.

If you’ve visited our office in the past, you know that infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. Our infection control processes are designed to make your dental care safe and comfortable. In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we want to re-familiarize our patients with our safety guidelines and inform you of new measures we are adopting to maximize your safety as well as the safety of our staff.

Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow these agencies’ activities to update any new rulings or guidance that may be issued. We do this to ensure our infection control procedures are current and adhere to each agencies’ recommendations.

As a result, you may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. For example:
Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You will be sent a link to fill out a pre-screening questionnaire online. It is REQUIRED that you fill out this online form the day before your appointment. For same-day appointments, it must be filled out online as soon as possible. No patient can be seen without this form filled out prior to arrival. You’ll be asked those same questions again when you arrive at the office.
Your temperature will be taken upon entry into the office with a touchless infrared thermometer.
Your temperature will be taken upon entry into the office with a touchless infrared thermometer.
You may see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s toys, and so forth since those items are difficult to clean and disinfect. We have also removed most of the chairs and ask that you call the office when you arrive and wait in your car, if possible, until we contact you that we are ready to see you.
Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.
We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you and reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time.
ALL patients should wear facial masks/covering when entering the dental office- NO EXCEPTIONS. If you don’t have a facial mask/covering, we CANNOT allow you into the office.
After dental work is completed, before leaving the operatory, the mask/covering should be placed back on before going to the front desk. We cannot provide patients with masks or any other PPE as there is still an extreme shortage, and PPE is needed for all our employees and all front-line workers. Due to increased costs and PPE shortages, there will be a $15 PPE fee collected for each appointment.
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you and our staff safe during your visit. To make an appointment, please call our office at 561-852-7700.

Thank you for choosing us as your premier dental health provider. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming back our patients, neighbors, and friends.
